As always, Capt. George came through for us. We had an AWESOME trip out east and he played the weather just right (i.e. we stayed until the sensible time to bail and then finished up closer to home). Thanks again, Captain!

Capt. George provided one of the best fishing experiences I have ever had. He worked his butt off so that my buddy and myself could have a great time. If it weren't such a long distance to travel, I'd be on his boat every week!! The weather could not have been more perfect; I think Capt. George ordered it just for us. Thanks again.

First time out with Capt. George, it was a blast and non-stop action. He knows his stuff and knows where to find the fish. The first line in the water was a fish, it went on like that all day. My wife Kristal and our friend Kevin kept reeling them in on bait all day while I switched to a jig mid morning and couldn't reel in an empty line even if I wanted to. We decided to keep only 19" and above for Haddock, we left with our boat limit of 60, we threw back at least 70-100. We also caught plenty of Cod that were thrown back, probably 40 or more. 18-20 Pollack, some keepers and even a few Sculpin and Whiting in the mix. It was non-stop, a full cooler with well over 100lbs of fillets, sore arms & shoulders and an awesome time. Gloucester is a beautiful area as well. We ate fresh caught seafood, as much as our stomachs would allow and the locals are very friendly and welcoming. There's plenty to see, do and eat before and after you're done catching your limit of fish! We'll be back to fish again, probably this Summer or Fall.

On May 24 my brother-in-law, his brother-in-law and I went out with Captain George aboard The Lady Diane for a day of fishing. I can not say enough about our experience. The Captain is a super helpful gentleman that worked his tail off making sure the 3 three of us were constantly rigged and catching fish. The 3 of us virtually pulled in haddock and cod non stop until we filled all the limits in the boat. We released over 50 cod and over 75 haddock (we decided to only keep 19”+ haddock) before topping out our limits. This all occurred by 10:30 AM. This fishing trip was fantastic and we will definitely be booking another trip with Captain George.

Cpt George and the lady Diane is the deadliest fish catching combo the Atlantic Ocean has ever seen. 47 haddock 4 cod one of witch was 31" 4 cusk 1 pollack and 1 sea perch ...... Sore arms full coolers and a day that I will not soon forget.

August 9, 2016 We made it back as planned. Back in June we caught a pile of fish and Capt. George showed us another super day of ground fishing on Tuesday. Seas were a bit rough but the fishing was superb. The sharks were just as hungry as we donated a few fish to them while reeling in haddock and cod. Hopefully the regulations change on the cod because the population seems to be healthy. Again, thanks Capt. George and maybe we can squeeze in a tuna trip before deer season. Steve, Meg and Craig

I booked this trip with my wife, who doesn't fish much. Capt George made sure she caught fish, and enjoyed the trip as much as I did. We had a great time and I would recommend it to anyone. We are looking to book another trip next year. Capt George was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was the highlight of our trip. As we left the bay he pointed out points of interest, and was very interesting to talk to. Great fishing trip!!!

Thanks to Capt. George for a great day of fishing! Our first trip to Gloucester, definitely will not be the last. We have fished on larger boats before and spent the majority of the time getting lines untangled. Capt. George is passionate about what he is doing and makes you feel welcomed. If you've never been deep sea fishing before I would recommend him for a first time, he will explain what he is doing and why so you have a good time. The smaller boat is the way to go as long as the weather permits! We hope to be back for some pollack fishing later on in the summer/fall. If you are thinking of a charter, quit thinking and go. Life is short go fishing!. Thanks again to Capt. George.

Excellent trip and amazing captain! Capt. George knows he's fishing spots, gear, and how to put you on the fish. We caught our boat limit of haddock before noon and caught quality mackerel, redfish and whiting. He is very personable and accommodating; will definitely go out again this summer!

When my wife and I booked our charter I mentioned to Captain George that we were looking for something big to fight and some meat for the cooler. Imagine our shock when we landed a boat record 104.5" Bluefin Tuna. This was our first time fishing with Captain George on the Lady Diane and certainly will not be our last, we are already planning next years trip. I cannot say enough for Captain Georges wiliness to teach, his patience with us "greenhorns" and his overall knowledge and excitement for fishing, especially for tuna. It was the thrill of a lifetime and we couldn't possibly ask for more. Weather is the only thing that stopped us from fishing a second day, we'll have to make up for that one next year. If your looking for an excellent charter captain, look no further! You can see the full story under "a tail of two charters" in the fishing report section.
