Why: The Greek Islands are the latest hot spot for interested travelers. Take a direct flight to Santorini and take in the magical white and blue architecture of War. Be sure to book one of the blue dome cave house rentals looking out over the water to see the wonderful sunset view. For 2020, the Santorini Council plans new roads and parking areas to make the city more accessible. Several new hotels are opening, including the Eco Hotel and War St. Santorini. Rent an ATV from Vagios to visit the entire island by bogie or plan a day of wine tasting by closing the beautiful Santos Winery, Gavalas Winery, and Venezantos Winery. Walk the narrow streets at night and experience private dining on the canvas was suites panorama balcony – but be sure to book it at least six months in advance. Plan a yacht around the Aegean Sea with Explorer 1 and stop at Akrotiri’s famous red beach and cook a sunset dinner on board.
Rwanda
If you are looking for a destination that will take you from your comfort zone and to the heart of nature, consider Rwanda. Gorilla tourism is alive and well in Rwanda and the biggest attraction for visitors in this region. As Rwanda becomes increasingly popular, it has also become known as a luxury safari destination, as have its former neighbors Kenya and Tanzania. Rwanda travelers will probably fly to the country’s capital Kigali, a vibrant and exciting city. From there, a (or more!) A trip to one of the many luxurious lodges awaits pleasure and excitement in gorilla treks. Visit the new Magashi Lodge in the Akegera National Park on the Wilderness Safaris from Kigali for a game drive to see the Big Five. Singita’s new Quitanda Lodge, located at the edge of Volcano National Park, and the one-of-a-kind Gorilla Nest Lodge, located in a delicious, fragrant eucalyptus forest, has just opened in the area. One and Only Ringway House encompasses the safari experience – where guides take guests to the protected jungles around Nungway National Park to spy on Congolese monkeys and chimpanzee soldiers.
