I'm sorry BUT

12 Aug 2010

I have been so busy getting great customers on fish that I haven't had time to right a proper report and today is no different.

All I can say is the fishing is fantastic with some caveats....

Tuna on bait is great except the last week saw an invasion of bluefish so our mackerel have disappeared...dont blame them.

Jumpers excite everyone but are virtually uncatchable because they are still on spike mackerel and are extremely boat shy.

The GREAT NEWS is the ground fishing for COD is even better than in the spring.  I guided a customer today (Thursday) for a cod trip and we limited out on cod from 10-25 lbs in around 4 hours.  We played catch and release and watched many many  legal fish swim to safety.sIf you missed the spring bite or want to fill the freezer with beautiful green clean ocean run cod call me NOW!!!   If we dont limit out I will be very surprised.

I will try to post a report on Sunday with photos of what we have been doing the past 2 weeks.  Unfortunately being a one man operation I need to make decisions...catch fish or play on the interenet...Guess which I chose Ralph!!!

Tight Lines,

Capt George
