The fun continues

I have taken a couple more great families out on Cape Ann Kids Trips the last few days. People ask me if I like doing these trips and I respond, if I didn't I wouldn't do them. I have been a teacher for over 38 years (and counting) and working with young people has always been a joy in my academic area. Having a chance to work and teach them a recreational activity they can enjoy the rest of their lives is just so much fun for me. I believe it is important to get new young fisherman in our sport. When I was a kid I lived on a lake and fished every day I could. At our summer home we had no TV, video games and the internet were still years away, so kids played hard with physical outdoor activities especially around the lake. Swimming, fishing, biking, hiking, and exploring the woods (for the next deer season) was how I and my brother grew up. We were always busy and had little time to get into trouble and if we did my parents were always there to set us straight. Keep a kid busy and you will have a happy kid and what better way than to get them hooked on fishing...this is why I do Cape Ann Kids trips...sorry for the rant but I have strong feelings about this subject.
Anyways here are some photos of the great times we are having on the Lady Diane with some fantastic youmg fisherman and their parents!
