Weather was against us

11 Jul 2010

No charter on Saturday as the weatherman threw us another curve.  Although it was nice and sunny inland the wind blew hard along the coast from the south and a strong line of storms passed through the area in the early afternoon.  I decided to reschedule the charter as I do not like to see my customers get beat up while trying to fish...it is suppose to be fun....there will be a better day,

I am excited about the upcomming week as on Tuesday,  Buddy Candee, who hooked into a giant tuna last Thursday, has signed on for a rematch.  We plan on fishing both tuna and cod on this trip so I hope to have a real FISHY report for you on Wed.  On Thursday I do the same with an old friend Ralph DaSilva, who worked in my school for many years.  Ralph has a craving for some shashimi so we are going out to see if we can get him hooked up with charlie.  Next weekend is booked on Sat and Sun for ground fish trips but as always I bring along my tuna spin sticks in case we see some jumpers.  Along with all that commercial bass season opens on July 13th so on my off charter days I will be bass fishing.

Fishing is fantastic....life is good!

Tight Lines,
