Inshore Bass

7 Jun 2010

My good buddy Capt Scott Maguire invited me to go out and do a little bass fishing the other day in the Merrimack River.  We caught a perfect outgoing tide and put over 18 fish in the boat between 30 and 45".  Most were taken by livelining mackerel but one nice 39" girl grabbed a yellow needlefish plug.  Between the tide and the river's swift current she put up a real good fight on my little St Croix 12-20 rod.

I know some people love to striper fish and I am willing to make the run to the Merrimac to get you in on this action.  Need to have 5 hours and trips must be run based on the tides in order to insure great fishing.  Give me a call and we will see if you can tangle with one of these beauties.
