20 May 2010
I have received lots of phone calls these past few days from folks inquiring about week day charters. As some of you know, In my other life I am a full time teacher (38 years and counting) and therefore during the early part of the season I am restricted to fishing on weekends and vacation days. However, beginning on JUNE 25, 2010 I will be saying good bye to my little school friends for the summer and will be available for fishing charters 7 days a week. I know the fishing reports are incredible right now and everyone is anxious to wet a line, but I firmly believe this fishing is going to hold up if not get even better (hard to believe I know) during the summer. Dates in July last year went fast once we got into June so please call ASAP. Weekday fishing avoids the large crowds, especially when chasing tuna, and gives you an even better chance at landing that trophy catch.
The weather this weekend looks to be perfect for a change (I hope I didn't just jinx myself). I have charters both Saturday and Sunday and will be going after groundfish again. I will try to post up a brief report each evening and the "rest of the story" on Monday morning.
Tight Lines,
Capt. George
