As many of you are aware there are anti fishing forces aligning to list Blue Fin Tuna as an endangered species under theConvention on Trade in Endangered Species (CITES).  If our government supports this listing then not only will the international sale of BFT be banned in the US but even the targeting and possesion of BFT will be banned under the US Fish & Wildlife Services prohibition of taking and possessing any endangered species...this would effect both commercial and recreational fisherman as well.
