Trip Rescheduled

2 May 2009

I had to reschedule today's (Saturday) charter to tomorrow as Mother Nature decided to do her thing again today.

Sunday looks like a much better day and reports are the haddock bite is still on.  I only take charters out when I know the conditions will allow my customers their best chance at catching...If you want a roller coaster ride go to 6 Flags.

The State Of Massachusetts has closed a small area in state waters to all cod fishing until June 30th.  Allegedly this action is to protect spawing cod but there are other reasons that this has occured which I am not going to bore you with.  This closure area does not affect us as I am fishing a completely different area.  If we have cod fish on board and need to transit the area on the way in we need to stow all gear (jigs/hooks off rods etc). This is something I do for saftey reasons anyways.

I will post at least a short report tomorrow night to let you know how we did.
