Deep Sea Fishing Charters for
Cod,Haddock,Pollack,Wolfish,& Halibut
 Beginning in April the Lady Diane departs from the Cape Ann Marina Resort located in Gloucester, Massachusetts, just north of Boston. Gloucester provides us a short ride to southern Jeffreys Ledge, Tilles and Stellwagen Bank which means more fishing time for our guests as well as a wide variety of bottom structure to fish on. At this time of year cod and haddock can be found in great numbers in relatively shallow water on top the banks and which allows anglers a less physically demanding day hauling these prize food fish aboard. As the water warms we move east to the deeper edges and find excellent ground fishing throughout the summer months. The fall brings some of the finest fishing of the year as we fish into October. The wolfish you see pictured here, was caught on a Stellwagen Bank trip on June 27, 2011 . A new boat record for the Lady Diane, this trophy measured 42" weighed 27lbs, and was caught by angler Mike Arnone (with an assist from 10 year old Mikey) of Flanders, NJ.
 Deep Sea ground fish charters are designed for people who like to catch and eat fish. Trips depart in the early morning hours as the best bite is usually the early bite. We will travel up to 40 miles offshore in search of cod, haddock, pollock, wolfish and halibut. Since we are able to cruise at 24 knots, guests enjoy more fishing time and less riding time. We will drift fish using premium Shimano and Penn tackle with Jerry Brown braided line and various jig/teaser rigs. While jig fishing is our primary technique, as it is the most productive, on occasion bait will also be employed especially when haddock fishing.
